Brasied Liver & Bacon


550gms Lambs Liver

100g onion(Finely sliced)

25g butter

5 tbsp plain flour

4 Slices Back Bacon

1 beef stock cube

400ml water

salt and pepper

Season Flour in a tray/bowl,add liver and coat with the flour,both sides.
Heat half the butter in a Frying Pan(wait for the sizzle)
Then fry each slice until golden brown,
Remove all to a cooling tray.
Once cooled to touch put the liver into 4 individual portions,then wrap 1 slice of bacon around each portion.
Heat the remaining butterin the frying pan and add sliced onions,fry till golden brown then take off heat.
make up the gray mix add onions,then place your liver in cooking vessel add your onion gravy mix.
Place in prehated oven 170c For approx 15 mins, check by using a knife slice middle of liver ensure completely cooked through .
Slice of bread cut to size required, then fry off in pan after you fry the liver, get all flavours into the bread, then serve the liver and bacon on top of the fried bread just add onion gravy.
