Sangria is an alcoholic beverage of Spanish origin. A punch, the sangria traditionally consists of red wine and chopped fruit, often with other ingredients such as orange juice or brandy.


2 Pints Sweet Red Spanish Wine
5 Fresh Peaches (or 1 tin Sliced Peaches Drained)
Juice Of 1 Lemon
4 Tablespoons Brandy
1 Red Apple
1 Lemon
600 ml Soda Water (sparkling)
Ice Cubes


1. Put the sliced peaches in a large glass jug or bowl (bigger the better)
2. Add the wine, lemon juice and brandy and allow to soak for about 2 hours.
3. Just before serving, slice the apple and lemon thinly and add to your mix finish off with sparkling water and ice cubes..
