Onion Bhaji’s

  • Ingredients:
  • 150 gm Plain Flour
  • 2 Onions, Thinly Sliced
  • 1 Tsp Chilli
  • 1 Tsp Ground Cumin
  • 1 Tsp Ground Tumeric
  • 3 Tbsp Baking Powder
  • Deep Fat fryer+Oil
  • 200 ml cold water

Preparation method

Add the flour, and all Dry spices and stir well to combine.Add Onions make sure ingredients completly combined Pinch Salt and Pepper, add water and mix well

Heat the oil over a medium heat. When hot add a large spoonful of the bhaji mixture and fry for 1-2 mins, until golden-brown.

Turn the bhaji over and fry for a further 30 seconds, until crisp and golden-brown all over. Remove and drain on kitchen paper.

Repeat with the remaining bhaji mixture, replenishing the oil in the pan if it runs low and allowing it to heat up again after a new addition.
Notes:
Trial And Error:After First Bhaji is ready taste and adjust recipe to your liking e.g. More Spice/salt and pepper
