Avocados were cultivated in Mexico as far back as 7000 B.C. and guacamole. made from mashed avocados with spicy flavourings, is an ancient Mexican dish which remains popular today as it has ever been. Guacamole gets it’s name from Aguacate, the Mexican word for Avocado.

2 Ripe Avocados
100 gm Tomatoes,(Skinned,deseeded and finely Diced)
1Teaspoon Onion (Finely Diced)
1 Teaspoon Jalapenos (Diced)
1 Tablespoon Corriander (Finely Diced)
Salt And Pepper

Cut the avocados in half and remove the stones, scoop out the avocado flesh with a spoon and place in to a large mixing bowl,Mash the avocado  flesh well with a fork until it is smooth and creamy. Add all the other ingredients and mix thoroughly. Cover with cling film and refrigerate until ready to use.
