Baked Parsnip’s

Ingredients:
500 gm Fresh Parsnip’s (Peeled, Ends Of and quarted)
25 gm Butter
Salt and Pepper
Syrup or Honey to Brush

Method:
Preheat the oven to 180c Gas Mark 5, Grease a oven proof dish, with half the butter. Put the parsnips into a saucepan of salted water and bring to the boil. Lower the heat and simmer for about 5 mins drain the parsnips thoroughly in a colander.
Add Salt and pepper and drizzle of oil mix well.
Place parsnips in your oven proofed dish and coat with a pastry brush with syrup or honey.
Bake in the oven for approx 20-30 mins until tender and golden brown.
Remove from oven and Serve.
